Right now, that doesn't really apply to him. He's thinking about opportunities lost, relationships that have come and gone, and how damn hard it is to be alone today. Yeah, he can't really afford romantic entanglements. He's always got to be on guard, ready to act as the counter to the X if any of them should go rogue again.. And he's DUE for another dance with Gambit, if the Horsemanized jerk ever showed up again.

He doesn't honestly regret his path, but...
